In 1989 we opened as a full-service medical concern called the Open Door Health Center.   Seeing a need in the community, in 1997 the Open Door Adolescent Center was established at the high school. 

In 2008 HealthLinc took over the physician services but Open Door continued to provide medications and co-pays for the indigent.  Then in 2013 the Open Door partnered with the Physician Community Alliance and representatives of St. Anthony Hospital (now Franciscan Health) to create the Open Door Community Alliance.  By joining forces, we can determine the greatest needs of the uninsured and underinsured in the community.
